Attorney Rebecca Radford’s presentation for the 45th Annual Estate Planning Seminar at LSU Law Center is now available online. The presentation focuses on the requirements for drafting a trust to hold retirement benefits. Some of the topics include drafting a trust to maximize tax-free growth of the retirement benefits through “see-through” trust status, the implications of the Louisiana Trust Code on drafting trusts for retirement benefits, and commonly used trust provisions. The program has been approved for 1 hour of CLE credit.
Rebecca’s practice primarily involves taxation, estate planning, successions, trusts, and business and commercial transactions. She earned a J.D. and a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law, cum laude, from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2012and a LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida in 2013.
